We are going to change our Yahoo IM gateway software next weekend. All existing registrations will be lost and you will have to register again. The old transport will be backuped, so if we get too many problem reports from the users, we’ll be able to restore the transport.

After long time of waiting Facebook has fanally added Jabber/XMPP access to Facebook Chat. If you want to use this feature you need to create a new account in your Jabber/XMPP client application with the following settings:

• Server: chat.facebook.com
• Username: from URL — www.facebook.com/your_nick
• Password: your Facebook password
• Notes: disable encryption (SSL/TLS)

In addition to jsmart.web.id, jabberid.org now provides e-mail service, too. The e-mail service configuration:

• Box size: 20M
• Letter max size: 10M
• Web, POP, SMTP and IMAP access
• RBL based anti-spam

The web interface is available at mail.jabberid.org. Please note that only PC browsers are supported — don’t try to use mobile. For POP, SMTP and IMAP access use the hostnames pop.jabberid.org and smtp.jabberid.org. Your username in this case should match your full Jabber ID.

underjabber.net.ru virtual host is closed for public registration since today. We have no more interests connected with this name. It will be still supported, but you will not be able to register new accounts.

As you could see (if you used our service), adding a huge set of new gateways caused some problems. We have decided to stop some of the gateways for a few days, but we’ll going to run them again as soon as possible. Thanks for your attention.
