Remote Roster (2.11.2011)

We are happy to announce that since now our server supports Remote Roster XEP which is useful with Spectrum IM gateways.

Transports downtime (30.10.2011)

Our primary transports have been down for long time (2 last days). We receive many requests to bring them up, but unfortunately cannot do it till now. The problem comes from adsl.by, internet operator in Belarus.

Unexpected downtime (23.10.2011)

We are sorry for today’s downtime. The reason was a power outage in the datacenter, it isn’t related with SmartCommunity’s team work.

Hardware upgrade results (18.10.2011)

Here we go. The hardware has been completely upgraded and now we are already running with new configuration which should be way faster. We should say sorry for a little downtime — unfortunately, we brought the server down when performing the migration process. It is not our fault, the reason of downtime was too heavy load (load averages could reach 62.40 in peak).

Hardware upgrade shceduled (17.10.2011)

We are going to perform hardware upgrade in a few days. We’ll make an attempt to make it without any downtime, by changing the cluster’s master node and DNS management. The new server will allow us to handle growing load and take back traffic compression and encryption for everyone. Current peak load of approximately 9000 online users is too heavy to have them enabled with our current configuration.

C2S compression and encryption (24.09.2011)

Everypony who needs compression and encryption, can connect to port 5224.

Instability (16.09.2011)

The server is running pretty unstable today. We are experiencing overloading and making a severe reorganization in order to get able to handle the growing load. We appologize for the inconvenience and remind you that it is still possible for some more downtime during this day.

Kami mendapat downtime yang tak terduga karena masalah perangkat lunak. Server berjalan lagi, tetapi kita akan melihat lebih dalam dan menemukan alasan yang menyebabkan masalah ini. Mohon maaf atas ketidaknyaman ini.

Saat ini SmartCommunity meluncurkan radio stream online yang bisa Anda akses melalui site pada alamat http://radio.jsmart.web.id dan melalui music player kesayangan anda yaitu dengan alamat http://sc.jsmart.web.id:8000 jika koneksi Anda rendah, dan jika koneksi Anda memungkinkan Anda bisa menggunakan http://sc.jsmart.web.id:8028 untuk kualitas yang lebih baik.

Kami telah berkontribusi dengan terjemahan bahasa Indonesia untuk proyek ejabberd dan sekarang mempertahankan dan mengevaluasinya. Kami tidak yakin bahwa itu dibutuhan, tapi setidaknya sekarang kita bisa yakin bahwa kami membantu masa depan pendiri layanan Jabber Indonesia. Terjemahan sekarang tersedia hanya di git, tapi itu akan dimasukkan dalam salah satu rilis stabil berikutnya. Semoga sukses ejabberd.
