About SmartCommunity
SmartCommunity is a public Jabber/XMPP server founded and supported by an Indonesian online IT community of the same name. The community has many members, short information blocks about the leaders are shown in the right column. We serve many Jabber/XMPP domains, some of them are:
We provide some other services for our users. They include several IM gateways (Yahoo, Windows Live, AIM, ICQ and others), public e-mail service and web hosting. E-mail service may be provided on free basis for the users well familiar to our community. E-mail service uses the same address as Jabber ID of the user and it requires manual activation by the community administrator. Users who want to get an e-mail address should join support room and ask the administrators about it. Web hosting may be provided only for Jabber-related projects that we find to be interesting and useful. It can be a blog about Jabber/XMPP, site of some Jabber/XMPP client library, bot and so on. We can also provide Subversion space for Jabber-related projects. If you need to obtain an SVN repository for your project, contact us on our forum.
Of course, our project is not the only one Jabber/XMPP server in Indonesia. Some of the others are listed below.
